Our Axum Obelisk – Single Origin Ethiopia is a tribute to the rich heritage and timeless beauty of Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee. Sourced from the legendary Yirgacheffe region, these heirloom beans are grown at high elevations, where cooler climates and fertile soils nurture some of the world’s most distinctive and celebrated coffees.

Axum Obelisk captures the true spirit of Yirgacheffe: an elegant, bright, and floral coffee with extraordinary complexity. Each sip delivers a lively yet refined experience; vibrant citrus notes of lemon and bergamot unfold gracefully alongside sweet floral aromas of jasmine and orange blossom. The body is silky and tea-like, offering a clean, crisp finish that lingers beautifully.

Meticulously washed to preserve the bean’s inherent clarity and vibrancy, Axum Obelisk showcases a natural honeyed sweetness, delicate stone fruit undertones like peach and apricot, and a refreshing acidity that dances across the palate.

We roast this coffee lightly to medium (American roast), carefully balancing development to maintain its floral fragrance, bright flavour layers, and smooth, refreshing mouthfeel. Best enjoyed as a filter brew or pour-over, where its subtle nuances shine.
